Key Dates for Winter Holidays in Punjab
According to the official notification, the winter break will follow two different schedules based on the weather conditions in different regions:
- Start Date: December 22, 2025
- End Date: January 11, 2026
- Schools Reopen: January 12, 2026
Extended Holidays for Hilly Areas
Due to extreme cold and heavy snowfall, schools in colder regions like Murree and Kotli Sattian will have a much longer break.
- Vacation End Date for Hilly Areas: March 7, 2026
- Schools Reopen: March 8, 2026
